Becoming a Charitable Organization

What is your strategic plan?

Becoming a nonprofit does not mean your organization does not generate profit. It means that it doesn't generate revenue for the purpose of saving or retaining income. A nonprofit is designed to serve a charitable purpose.  Keep in mind, while nonprofits are built from passion, not all of your ideas will translate into a viable business.  Charitable organizations get revenue from donations, grants, memberships, and selling branded products.  Let us help you complete the steps to becoming a nonprofit. A nonprofit's strategic plan is the formal process an organization creates to accomplish their goals and objectives for the year. This becomes a guiding document that is used to turn your goals into actions.  We assist organizations that have a goal to nurture and expand awareness for a specific cause, project, religious, educational, or scientific purpose. There are multiple types of strategic plans that we support which depend on the goals of your organization.

  • Issue-Based - Is used when a plan is developed based on a specific problem that has occurred or is occurring.

  • Standard - Your goals and objectives have been determined and will remain stable throughout the course of your organization.

  • Organic - Is used when you know problems exist however, you don't quite know which you want to pursue, and you need help developing future goals and objectives.
